Go to the auditors site here to look up your taxable value on your property.
Once you have found your property go to the valuation tab.
It will look like the first image below.
Find a current property tax bill and compare yours to the examples below.

In general senior citizens, disabled persons, and surviving spouses are eligible to reduce the market value of their home, condo or mobile home by $25,000. Based on the district’s current effective tax rate of 27.55 mills plus the bonds of 5.70 mills, the tax reduction is worth $291.00 per year for residents who currently do not receive the discount.
The math works like this: $25,000 x 35% = $8,750 assessed value. $8,750 x 0.03325 (27.55 + 5.70 converted into mills) = $290.94 per year.
